The Economics of Broadband Wireless
Please download our report brochure, which includes the Table of Contents and List of Figures and Tables

Following a fifteen month effort, Signals Research Group, LLC has published a landmark economics study of five next-generation wireless technologies.  The 1,000 page report, which is published in five volumes, includes numerous sensitivity studies which quantify the impact of various parameters on an operator's network economics.  These parameters include spectral efficiency, link budget, frequency band and amount of available spectrum, choice of service concept (e.g., mobile, nomadic, semi-fixed and fixed), IP core network versus hierarchical network, choice of backhaul, and infrastructure costs for different levels of estimated network voice and data traffic.  Results are presented on a regional and country-by-country basis for 65 countries around the world.

"Our flagship research product is our Signals Ahead newsletter.  Individual issues or an annual license to this product can be purchased." "Most clients purchase an annual license to our research since this is the most economical option.".

While there is strong interest in our Signals Ahead newsletter, nearly half of our business is dedicated to providing proprietary research and consulting services.

Although we are most-recognized for our Signals Ahead research product, we also have strong interest in our consultancy services, which typically represents nearly half of our business.  With the addition of Mark and Randy to the SRG team, I believe that companies that engage our services will quickly recognize and appreciate the unique skills that we can offer them.  Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any specific questions on the types of services that we might be able to offer your organization.
